(I started this post a couple of days ago, and now is when I finished it.)
Hi. *head hung low* I know I haven't been around much lately. It just feels like I have nothing to give right now. I'm a mush ball at the end of my day, which has been ending very late by the way. As my beloved and I were getting ready for bed a couple of nights ago, I told him, " I think I'm going to give up the blog." As it was coming out of my mouth I couldn't help but laugh. If I were to go back to the beginning of my blog and look at the weeks surrounding Britney's evaluations, I have a post that mentions giving up the blog, or cutting back to a couple of times a week, etc. I should learn by now that it is a phase I go through of feeling completely overwhelmed after she gets a new set of therapy activities.
So for now I will continue with Sew Crafty Friday and shoot for at least one or two other days during the week. There are so many things I would like to share..... Once I get into the swing of it all I will try to go back to my blogging schedule.
I'm off to go bathe our cat. It looks like she might be taking her final trip to the vet soon. She might have a tumor in her mouth, which is now deformed, and she has stopped eating. She is full of saliva. ;0(
While I wait for my Saviour to return,I figured I would share....from the heart.

Sweetie, you sure have a lot going on! Even one day a week is impressive as a blogger, if you ask me. Poor kitty-cat! How old is she? I had a cat who lived to be twenty. A dear friend just lost a cat of 17 years. It is so hard to say goodbye to a furry friend. Just know that your kitty is fully aware of how much she is loved!
Hi Shereen! You're doing great. You're giving your all to your family. Post when you can. I go through the exact same thing and I don't homeschool four children and home therapy.
God Bless!
Sorry about your kitty. You really have had some pet difficulties.
And I do remember in the past when you made changes and felt overwhelmed. Do take a break from blogging as you need too. Guilt is not necessary. We aren't paying for a subscription to a magazine, so don't worry about being "late." We will still be here when you have a chance to write again.
Grace and peace to you from Jesus,
Elizabeth Joy
I am sorry about your cat and the blogging blues. :)
There is a book I have heard wonders about for teaching phonics called Teach Your Child to Read In 10 Minutes A Day. (This is not the popular ...in a 100 easy lessons book). I ordered it for my son and will let you know what I think. I have only heard good things about it.
I like what you said about going through a phase, and I think it is good for you to take breaks from blogging when you need them for as long as you feel led to blog. I was wondering if your daily blog titles you recently planned might be killing the joy of it for you? It would for me because then I'd feel I had to blog only about that topic on Monday when I might have something totally different and exciting to share. It might be nice to have the themes as a guide for times when you need inspiration. ;) But it seems you already have plenty to share about! :) Thank you!
P.S. I meant to encourage you that it is ok to say something like "I am learning Britney's new program; so I will not be blogging much (or at all) for the next two weeks. Look for a new post later in the month...
Your faithful readers will be waiting joyfully to find you refreshed later in the month! :)
Ok, I totally understand how hard it is to blog. Heck, if I get one post in a 3 months time, that is good for me but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, don't quit all together. You just can't! (stomps foot on ground and pouts)
BTW I added a couple of posts on Gianna so I am caught-up to Halloween. LOL (see...I'm a bad blogger)
I hope there's something that can be done for your kitty and that she's not in pain.
Hugs,
Gina
